Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, extreme-value grocery retailer, opened its newest location today at 6355 Main Street in Bonners Ferry, creating 25 new jobs in the community and providing big savings on name brand, high-quality merchandise.

Grocery Outlet stores are independently operated by local families who are committed to supporting their communities.

“We are overjoyed to be a part of the Bonners Ferry community and be able to provide big savings on quality groceries,” said IOs Blake Bevans and Haley McQueen. “This partnership with Grocery Outlet gives us the ability to grow our business, create new jobs and more importantly, give back to our local community.”

Grocery Outlet offers the same trusted brands as traditional grocery stores, but at lower prices.

Its buyers scour the country to find the top manufacturers with excess inventory and seasonal closeouts so Grocery Outlet can offer “WOW savings” on thousands of name-brand products at significantly lower prices.

In celebration of the opening, from March 26 through April 23 customers may enter for a chance to win a grand prize of Free Groceries for One Year! ($100 per month for one year, a $1,200 value).

The grand prize drawing will take place at the end of the day on Thursday, April 23, at the Bonners Ferry Grocery Outlet.

Must be 18 years of age or older. One entry per person, per day. No purchase necessary. Winner need not be present to win but must claim the prize within three days of notification or another winner will be chosen. No cash value and no substitutions.

In true Grocery Outlet custom, independent owner-operators Blake and Haley will donate the fundraiser proceeds to a local nonprofit, C.A.P. of Bonners Ferry, whose mission is to serve the economically and socially disadvantaged by responding to their specific needs, enabling them to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential through individual, social and educational development.

From 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 29, shoppers will have a chance to Spin & Win the Wheel of Bargains!
