The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office will be offering a series of four free Boat Safety and Paddle Sport classes on Saturdays beginning in March.

The class will teach all elements of boating safety, Idaho laws, cold water immersion and the importance of PFD use.

Classes will start at 8 a.m. on four consecutive Saturdays March 7, 14, 28 and April 4. Classes will be held at the Boundary County Waterways Building, 6821 Riverside Street in Bonners Ferry. Each class will last about six hours.
