This past Monday, Charlie Clark showed his willingness to step in and help out when he recognized the need.

While driving his water tender south on Highway 95, Charlie drove into an emerging wildfire event along Highway 95. Charlie pulled his tender over and was able to safely spray the fire with the water he had on board.

As it turns out, Charlie has a long history as a wildland firefighter and is no stranger to putting the wet stuff on the red stuff.

Thank you Charlie for demonstrating the spirit that makes Boundary County such a great place!
