Some 860 students from across the Washington State University system celebrated December 7 as new graduates during Fall Commencement. Among them was Crystal Lederhos Smith, Bonners Ferry, who earned her doctorate in prevention science, adding a PhD to her name.

A total of 926 students at Lewis-Clark State College earned honor roll distinction for the fall 2019 semester, LC State officials announced on Wednesday. Among the honorees, 460 were on the President’s List while 466 made the Dean’s List.

Auditions for the community theater production of Cheaper by the Dozen, to be staged in March, will be held at the Pearl Theater from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 3 and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, January 4.
