Two people were ejected in a single vehicle crash at about 5:30 p.m. on Highway 95 north of Athol. One died and one was flown to Kootenai Health.
According to the Idaho State Police, Angel M. Thomas, 24, Hayden, was driving a green 1999 Mazda Millenia north when she lost control on a right hand curve near mile 452 and slid off the east shoulder of the highway. The vehicle rolled, ejecting she and passenger Dalton C. Felts, 20, Athol.
Felts died at the scene. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
The north lane of highway 95 was shut down for about two hours.
