The University of Idaho Track & Field program is excited to announce the signing of Victoria Rae of Bonners Ferry High School. Rae is one of the top throwers in the Northwest who has a lot of potential.

Rae has also been an incredible volleyball player during her time at Bonners Ferry High School. Starting for three years, she earned All-League her junior and senior years. She was also the MVP for Bonners Ferry as a junior and team captain as a senior.

Rae is a strong student earning honor roll every semester of her high school career and was recognized by the Idaho Top Scholar's program for her outstanding academic achievements.

"We are very excited to have Victoria join the Vandal family," said Tim Cawley, director of Vandal track and Field and cross country. "She brings talent and work ethic with her and there is a lot of room for her to improve. She is going to help the team in the classroom as well."

Rae said she chose the U of I because she fell in love with the campus and program atmosphere. She plans to pursue studies in either education or physical therapy.
