Wanda Gail (Palmer) Hanson passed away December 2 at Kootenai Health. Gail was born in Longview, Washington, July 24, 1945, to Melvin and Francis Palmer.

She grew up on a farm with her brother Bob and her sisters Joy and Bev.

Gail moved to Bonners Ferry in the 1960s, where she had four children, Robin, Teresa, Edward and Darla. She raised them on the Deboer farm in the Copeland area.

She was an avid gardener and canned all the food a family could want.

Gail moved to town in the early 90s. At that time she was the main cook at Beauty's restaurant for many years.

She is survived by her sisters and brother, her four children, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Gail was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
