The Creston Valley Wildlife Management Authority has closed the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area to the public until further notice to protect visitors and staff and to slow the transmission of COVID-19.

"We understand that nature is a great place to be," officials wrote, "but the safety and health of visitors, staff and our community is our top priority right now. We will be monitoring and reassessing the situation."

Weekly updates will be provided on the CVWMA website, www.crestonwildlife.ca.
