The Lincoln County Health Department received notice today that an eighth individual has tested positive for novel coronavirus in Lincoln County.

This is the first positive case found in the county since April 5.

The individual is a male in his 70s and contact investigations are ongoing at this time.

This addition brings Lincoln County to a total of eight confirmed cases with one death attributed to COVID-19.

The total case count in Montana was at 852 as of 10 a.m. today, not counting the new Lincoln County case..

Please remember, if you have not received a call from the Health Department regarding contact with a case, you are not a considered a direct contact.
