December 12, 1943 ~ November 15, 2019

Phyliss J. "Jean" Doney, 75, left this earth for heaven on Friday, November 15, 2019, at her home in Libby of natural causes. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Libby Cemetery when the weather warms up, per her wishes.

She was born on December 12, 1943 in Hayes, Montana to Roy and Lilly Doney. She met and married the love of her life, Sam Wilson, in Harlem, Montana. They had three children; Jackie, Dean and Paulina.

Jean worked at Henry’s Café in Libby for over 30 years for many faithful patrons. She loved being in nature, especially during the warmer seasons, and enjoyed going for drives to look for rocks and pick flowers.

She could often be found going to rummage sales and attending craft bazaars around Libby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include two sisters, two daughters, one son, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
