William Auchus Jr., 86, Troy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020, after a massive stroke. There will be no formal services.

He was born on December 9, 1933, in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, to the late William Sr. and Dorothy Auchus.

Bill had been an independent truck driver and owner of Cousin Bill’s Tavern in Kunkle, Pennsylvania. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman but his true love was singing and playing country music on his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his eldest son Joseph Auchus.

Survivors include sister Dolly Cmiech, Brooksville, Florida, brother Larry Auchus, Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, daughters Sylvia Wesley (Larry), Shavertown, Pennsylvania, Donna Harrison (Russell), Brooksville, Florida, son Douglas Auchus (Barbara), Lake Alfred, Floria, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
